Laguna West is now getting cheap and is a great neighborhood.

So what's there to do:

a) Is there any live theatre?
b) Wine bars?
c) Nice Non-chain restaraunts?
d) Museums?
e) Outdoor music/concert series
f) Farmers markets
h) any other fun things that only
locals know about?

How about the people in Laguna west.
Are their active neighborhood associations?
(i.e. the west laguna assoc. web page is dead!).
Book clubs?
Any other organized social activities.

Ah come on it can't be that bad.
It's a city of 150k+ people.

I found one wine bar (jennings wine cellar)
A few outdoor concerts
The ClassicCinemas theater shows alternative movies
and even opera.

Defenders of Elk Grove, where art thou.

Well, it's been over 24 hours since you asked. The silence is deafening. That might tell you something.

When I'm in Elk Grove I usually eat at Chipotle and then read at Borders.
