Who can honestly explain, without bashing the area or homeless people, why it was not necessary to include a lightrail stop at North B Street or any public transit stops between there and D Street? There are people who work late living north of B Street.

When the original Light Rail line was planned, Loaves & Fishes wasn't quite the institution it is now, and service for the shelters and those living in the Dos Rios triangle wasn't considered a very high priority. The line was primarily intended as a commuter line to carry folks from the northern suburbs up I-80 downtown via park & ride lots, rather than transportation through neighborhoods the way a traditional streetcar line would.

I was kinda thinking similar about the suburban priority, but wanted to give benefit of the doubt. Thanks again Mr. Burg.
