I am used to the Millcreek, Holladay, and Canyon Rim areas in Utah, but am thinking about moving to the new community in North Salt Lake called Foxboro. I would like opinions and information on safety, resale value, pros, cons, suggetions, etc. My husband and I have a strict budget of $210k.

Please help!!!!!

Thank you!!

I go there in the summer to their splash-pad. Nice to have right there in the neighborhood.

It looks like a nice lay out, encouraging walking, recreation right there in the neighborhood.I like that it's close to SLC, & there is a lot of new commercial areas around it, close to 15 & Legacy.

But I find unappealing how it is out in a more industrial area, the train tracks, and it feels very "exposed". I imagine in time that will be less of an issue.

I haven't heard anyone say anything negative about crime.

Our son goes to a school for autistic kids there... it seems OK, though it's too close to the refineries for my tastes. Luckily for the Foxboro people the wind is usually blowing the other direction... but they are also downwind from the sewer treatment plant.
