My wife and I are considering to move to SLC for a change of scenery. We are interested in a condo, house, or townhome living. We have searched and replied for many places on craigslist...all replies (which I think indicate they aren't reading MY email) are requesting we complete a credit report, one that "the lister" has specifically chosen and they are all different. We live in Orange Beach, Al and OBVIOUSLY cannot set up a showing and bring our credit reports on Sunday- as many of the replies have requested.
Is this common when renting in SLC? Is no personal communication made between lister and renter? I just get bad vibes from these replies that demand my credit report from a site THEY reccommend!
It feels like we are getting absolutely nowhere!

Be very careful with craigslist as fraud prevails everywhere there. KSL is a good choice, as well as the local newspapers (Salt Lake Tribune, Deseret News)
