Just wondering what is the average I'll be charged.
Currently, (Chicago) the cheapest price per gallon within a ten mile radius of my house is $3.37

I remember complaining when it hit 1.39 a gallon. Now that it floats around 3 dollars a gallon, they got us brain washed to the point where when/if it gets to 2 dollars a gallon everybody and their mom will say, "That's some cheap gas!."

We regularly go to a place out in Kingsland, by inks lake in the Hill Country. Along one of the roads is a chevron station that has been closed about 3 years now, but still advertises gas for 1.49

I used to manage the Racetrac (now a Valero) on Culebra near Potranco/410, and back in 1999 we got to a low of 68 cents a gallon. It only stayed that price for one day, but I sure was freaked out! It "got up" to that price back in the 70's during the big fuel "shortage", and people thought the world was coming to an end!

Hi,
Funny you should ask, I just got a video of a guy who climbed up to the 7th floor to install a satellite. The video was of a line of cars that was approximately 2 MILES LONG waiting for gas
. I believe this was caused by the recent curfew because of the Mosque bombing.
I do not go outside of the wire, just seeing this line of cars, which is less than 100 yards from where I sleep, was shocking. I never even knew it was there.
I would definetly pay $5.00 a gal for gas to not have to wait in a line that is 2 MILES long
. Do not ask, I do not know how it works, you would think that as soon as they got gas they would have to go to the END of the line. Like so many things about this country, completely confusing.
