Just drove by Windsor Park Mall and it is Rackspace. What is Rackspace? Does anyone work for them? What are your thoughts? How long have they been in SA? Will they last?

They're a web hosting facility, been in business a number of years, and are growing quickly. Those I know working there speak highly of them.

I've never worked there personally, but a coworker of mine has worked there in the past and is going back, so they must be doing something right.

Hubby works there and loves it! The work environment is kinda like Google so to speak. He helps customers on the phone with setting up or troubleshooting their email accounts that are hosted by Rackspace.
Rackspace keeps on growing and are growing by word of mouth, not much in advertising done or needed.

Buddy of mine has worked there since nearly the beginning. He's in the Hong Kong data center now. He's doing quite well for himself at a decently young age. Hard to get in though, i've heard.

Hubby went through a employment agency as a contractor then has been hired on full time as a permanent Rackspace employee. It took about 7 months.

I've heard that too. It helps a lot to know people that already work there that are in a position to vouch for you.

At my first job out of college I replaced a lady who went to work for them; then my supervisor left and joined her! They both really loved it - I had an acquaintance who worked there and said he would forward my resume to them... didn't hear anything back, though.

I do hear that they're growing, so don't let my experience deter you. At that point I had been a SAHM for a year so there was that giant resume gap.
