I don't like smoke but have gotten used to it by now. Mostly, it's because I'll go to pool places where smoking is the norm.

Are there any good pool places that are smokeless? I'm also not looking for baby-sized pool tables but the real thing, only in a smokeless environment.

I don't think they allow smoking at the pool tables at Dave & Busters, do they? At least I have never been bothered by it there, but we go in the day time on the weekend when it is cold out...normally once a year.

Dave and Buster's has a decent ventilation system, too. Smoke doesn't seem to bother me there like it does at Fast Eddie's or Slick Willie's.

Default Rocky J's

The one time I went looking for a billiards hall, I walked into Fast Eddies on Culebra and walked right back out because of the smoke. I then went down the street on Culebra to Rocky J's, and it was WAY better. I don't think Rocky J's is smoke free, but it's pretty clean, and more family friendly than Fast Eddies.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about Rocky J's. My husband and I passed by there the other day and we were surprised it's still up and running! It's been there at least 20 years, probably closer to 25. We haven't been in ages, but it's nice to know they are still family-friendly. There aren't really many places that are--so we just bought our own pool table. I don't know though, I feel sort of held hostage by it. I'm not so sure it was one of our wisest investments, although we got a great deal on it. The novelty has worn off a little bit, and I'm afraid we aren't going to get a whole lot of use out of it. My 10 year old is pretty good, so maybe as he gets older more of his friends will come to play. We'll see..........

Yea, I figured most places would have some sort of smoke involved. I know my friend wanted to take me to some family-friendly pool place near 410/Ingram behind Krystal burgers but I don't know if it's too family oriented.

I should try Rocky J's. I've never heard of it.
