It helps a bunch. Thanks. I was also wondering about it making the water warmer. That would be great in the spring & fall but the last thing we want right now is warmer water.

The blue one we got doesn't heat the water too much... It does heat it on the top portion of the pool, maybe the first 6-12 inches, but the bottom portion of the pool is still cool... Once I turn on the pump and get the water moving it actually makes the water really comfortable... My kids love it now, they hated jumping into the cold water, but now the water feels almost bath like, not hot, but not cold... Just refreshing, KWIM???

Do you have in ground or above? Ours is above and in the evenings it's already like bath water, even thou hi it's 6 1/2 ft at the deepest. Also heard about the liquid stuff, SAWS approved.

We have an above ground pool... I don't know why our water always seems so dang cold, but not so much now with the solar cover... What liquid stuff did SAWS approve???

Not sure who I was talking to yesterday, either Warehouse pools or Leslie. But thats what they claim. Haven't researched it yet so I cant say one way or another. I'm just looking for other options other than the blanket type. We have a 18ft x 38ft and it would be nearly impossible for me to do the cover by myself and that would kill me using the pool during the day....
