I am in the negotiation phase with a potential employer in San Antonio and wanted to reach out on City Data to explore if there any pakistanis on this forum. It will be very helpful to understand how strong the pakistani community is because i would like my kids to not lose their ties with it.

I can't say I ever met anyone from Pakistan here in San Antonio and I have been here a long time. Long enough to meet people from many other countries but again, never from Pakistan. My guess is that the Pakistani community is not very strong here.

There are several different threads about southeast asians throughout the city. Not any Pakistani threads in particular, but search for southeast asian and you should find some info.

The owner of the Rickshaw Stop is Pakistani: Rickshaw Stop | Traditional Pakistani Street Food – Fast!

I have a long time coworker who is from Pakistan. Awesome guy. He has been here over 10 years and got his American citizenship last summer. Had another Pakistani coworker for a few years, but he has since moved out of state.

I actually work with two Pakistani nationals. Unrelated to each other. It's not a huge community here but it's here.

Big Pakistani population here in Houston. Especially here in the Southwest side. We are only a couple of hours drive from San Antonio so there are options.

I lived on Vance Jackson in the apartments there and most of the people were either jarheads or looked pakistani. Hope this helps.

I've met Pakistanis in north west San Antonio, in the NEISD area. I had a Pakistani friend in middle school(Jackson).

Also at the HEB at Wurchzbach and interstate 10, I see a lot of people from the Middle East, Asia, India and even Africa..diverse area.

I would say north west San Antonio is diverse. I even had an Eastern European friend in middle school.
