Looking for a uniform type store to purchase dress/uniform type shoes. After a google search and reading reviews, it appears a lot of them have closed. I've looked at other typical stores and they don't sell what I need. Don't like to buy clothes online since sizes run different with brands and it's not convenient to return.

Thanks!

Sterling at West Ave and I-10 has police/security/ems type shoes and gear. They'll also order things for you if they don't have what you're looking for.

Kel-Lac at 90 and Military has police and military stuff, mostly military.

Academy has a good selection of work boots.

There's a Red Wing shoe store on San Pedro. 7105 SAN PEDRO AVE

If you want them to last go for the Red Wing oxfords which can be resoled for $85, at least that is the charge on boots.

They can order you anything not on display just ask to see a catalog or go online then call them to insure they have it in stock.

Be sure to apply mink oil around the seams and threads so they can really last.

The Skechers oxfords at the Academy are a huge disappointment unless you like pebble leather.
