I was lucky to find a belt made out of alligator at a local resale shop. What is the best way to care for it? It is in pretty good condition and I'd like to keep it that way.

You'll need to keep Lexol or Neatsfoot Oil on it. The damage will come from the skin drying out. You'll need to do this every other month at least. Both products are great for any leather or snake skin too.
