So, the house we really wanted to rent got rented & we are still looking. I found out my hubby will be doing a lot of travel with his job so I'm thinking...since we plan to rent the 1st year that perhaps an apartment would be a good option?
I've read very mixed reviews online about almost all complexes in the 51 or 53 areas ...do any of you have ones you liked?

Complexes have all sorts of problems.. you should still try for a house or duplex if you can .. I don't think I've ever read an apartment on one of those review sites that had good reviews but as someone once said if you had a GOOD experience you're not likely to go and write about it but someone that had a BAD experience wants to go and complain ..
