Moving from Bakersfield California and Love baseball and looking to live close to Wolff Stadium (within 15 -20 min drive). What are the best neighborhoods to live in? Thanks.

Glutton for punishment! Don't how people sit out there in that heat/humidity for minor league ball. Maybe early in the season...but that's about it for me. The dollar drunk nights aren't fun either..unless they've changed that. Like he said...nowhere near the stadium.

I'm use to the heat as we get over 100 degrees during the summer. A little worried about the humidity. We have a minor league park here and been a season ticket holder for years so use of the dollar drunks!! Just need to know where not to live in San Antonio.

This is much different than the dust bowl that you're coming from. I've spent time there. They (The Missions) have had the lowest attendance in the Texas League for the last five years running and are always doing Groupon, etc...but hey, to each his own. Enjoy. Read the relocation thread at the top...this city is very spread out. There are a lot of areas to live, but also a lot of areas I would not want to live in.

Welcome to SA.
As opposed to the sourpuss's around here, I love SA and love our weather.

Far West San Antonio has some new construction going on. Fastest growing part of SA. Mesa Creek, Champions Park, Alamo Ranch.

Certainly not the prettiest area around the stadium but if you can overlook that, I think you will be fine. It is not as unsafe as some make it out to be unless you are used to gated neighbors way out in the boonies.

please consider somewhere else.

I am tired of people moving here from cali and whats worse, if they are older, they can't drive! I had one guy stop 3 car lengths away from another car by 410 and I couldn't even turn right to get on the feeder road! Instead i had to honk and do the move forward sign with my hand, please move somewhere else, thanks.
