San Antonians will soon have another way to get from here to there.
Sources close to the issue said Lyft, a San Francisco-based ride-hailing company, is expected to relaunch its services Thursday, more than three months after the City Council struck a deal with the company that would allow it to resume operations.

What's the proper amount to tip a Lyft driver ? Tips are allowed by their rules I believe.

And even though it is against the rules, how much do you tip the Uber driver to get a good rider rating ?

I use Uber and don't tip. They are very clear that there is no need to and that no tip is expected. The beauty of it is that there is no exchange of money (cash) between me and the driver. It is all done in the app and I really like that. I don't need to buy a good rating.
