To me, you have to be very selective in shopping at Sam's or Walmart. They both seem like they want to price themselves out of the market. And Sam's, well wow. To even cover the 45.00 membership, you had better find a lot of good bargains and buy a sh*tload of them to make up the percentages.

That's crappy.

Crappy?
It will make an even finer short cut for poster Soviet to drive behind now while taking video with a dash cam. Behind the closed Sam's Club!
Perfect! I will remember not to go that way now.

There's even a considerable amount of traffic backed up on the 281 access road all the way down to Bowlero.
I anticipated this, since the whole city knows about it and it's the only store in the whole city having the sale.

... And that's why membership clubs aren't for everyone. $45 is a deal, IMO.

You can get it cheaper on Groupon anyway.

Puro San Antonio.

What is puro about a national brand closing 70 stores? Please make more sense before you hit submit.

The 1604/281 Costco is so darn crowded. Hard to find a parking spot even.

Same with the other two stores we have. They need to build one near Alamo Ranch to ease the pressure.

Went yesterday around 5 pm...store was crowded, but probably had around 30% of the usual stock. Upper racks were all empty, and aisles in the far back were closed off. Many items placed in random spots to fill space (eg, iced tea mix next to socket wrenches next to thermal lunch boxes). Lines were pretty long. Ended up behind a couple in the self scan 10 items or less line, who had 2 flatbed carts full of stuff...noticed they "missed' a lot of their items in scanning, then again, so did the door checkers.

Loved the fact that the Marshall rd location was usually clean and not too crowded...I suppose that will be changing soon

I saw on a deals site that some of the other closing Sam's Club locations around the country were pricing things at 50% off, starting today.
