I am moving to Infinity Rim apartments in san antonio. I have three kids. I like to know if there is any Indian community around that area. For now we will be staying in these apartments but long term we would like to find out good areas and move into a house. also Is there any whatsup group for indians for that area?

Thank you for suggestions and information.

Try a search. This has been asked before. I’m unsure if many of us know where that complex is to provide you with feedback. What are some major streets nearby?

It's part of the Rim shopping center.

I’ll add stone oak to that list too. A lot if Indisn business people live in the area so their kids go to good schools. But a search will give more details.

I agree. A few years ago we had Indian co-workers and friends who lived up in Stone Oak near the Mormon Temple. They liked the area because there were at least then a number of Indian families in the area. They left the area for Army civil service jobs in Germany and I’m not sure where they finally settled if they have for that matter come back from Germany.

How about you join the melting pot and not worry about only being around indians?

So if you moved to an area, you wouldn't be interested in folks similar to you in religion. Why don't you give up your religion? How about your food preferences. If you moved, would you want to eat the stuff they do for breakfast?

Would you conform totally to the majority culture if you moved?

The Rim itself doesn’t have a big Indian population living within it, but the northwest side sure does and trust me, when I go to the Costco on UTSA Blvd. the biggest minority nationality I see there is Indian. By an overwhelming margin.
