Instead of going to Buc-ee's for a restroom break, try going to Love's sometime. The contrast in restroom cleanliness will be clear.

The problem is the people using the bathrooms. Many of them are really messy if it is not their own bathroom and some are really messy in their own bathrooms!

For those that traveled in a country like Japan...no matter where you go...the bathrooms are always spotless without 50 overpaid bathroom attendants constantly cleaning them like at buc-ee's.

You mean raised to be respectful of public spaces? Yeah, that went out of the window long time ago with Americans.

Completely off topic but on my way to ATL and back a few days ago, I noticed that the Buc-ees location in Leroy Alabama (suburb of Birmingham) off of I-20 was complete and seemed to be opened. I believe they are considering Georgia too.

Not completely off topic. It was about the store.

Blah, I was flying by it... I thought the sign read as Leroy.

Anyhow I was kind of hoping Buc-cees would stay a Texan thing. I was awestruck the first time I saw one.

I wonder if the increase of fuel prices and possibly more transition into electric vehicles in the coming decades will cause them to reconsider... or if they will be impacted by that at all..
