Click on "search forum" to the right. Search for "Furniture Store" and a ton of threads will come up. Good luck!

Yeah I know, I'm trying to avoid that ton of threads. I'm just looking for a few furniture stores, most of those threads are full of chatting and other things that I'm not really interested in digging through for a few simple answers. They are also full of people saying "Use the search forum tab", thats kind of a worthless saying, we all know that by now. : ) , But thanks for the help!

Thanks Sinsativ, I think you just about summed up my search places for me. I think between these locations and the one from Ash, i should be able to find what I'm looking for. You guys rock

I found some really nice "real" pieces at "Me and My House" near IH10 and Huebner. Not knocking the other stuff, but it's nice to move up from the MDF stuff for a change! Star Furniture was a regular stop on my furniture hunt when I moved here as well. Great customer service and their design dept was very helpful with custom fabrics, etc.
You may want to google for Second Home - at least I think that's the name of it. It is a furniture consignment store. So the stuff is usually used maybe folks that are changing up decor or estate sales.

Good luck!

Agreed on Me & My House. Their style has changed quite a bit from what it was about ten years ago. It used to be almost shabby chick and adorable in a way. It's moved over to more of a traditional tone of a store. The quality hasn't changed, though. We have several pieces from the shabby chick days at our house and swear by it. I haven't been in a while, but will always say good things about Me & My House.

Thanks for the info on me & my house! What kind of price range would you say they are? Based on their website they seem to be a "one of a kind" type of place. Very pretty!

Does anyone have any experience with Too Good To Be Threw, the furniture store? (I realize they are consignment)
