I am relocating to San Antonio and I am looking for a really great loctician. I am three years in my journey with locs and I want to find someone who can/will help my hair to grow and remain healthy. Any suggestions?

Maybe a forum that caters to this need would be more fitting. I don't go onto city data looking for an airplane mechanic.

???

The OP was looking for a hairdresser with skills in a particular type of hairstyle. Why is City-Data not a good place to ask ?

Not sure what you mean? Why would a thread that I created on city-data forum not be fitting? Please advise.

It is fitting. A hairstylist is someone who the average person regularly sees, and what better place to find a local hairstylist than a local forum. Very few individuals will ever need an airplane mechanic.

If I posted in the wrong place, I am sorry. I thought my thread was under Texas, San Antonio, since I am moving to San Antonio. I did not realize there is a forum that goes deeper than that.

I really am not sure how/why the many different responses (i.e. airplanes, not knowing the term) answers my question. I have seen threads/post on the city data forum (many locations) and if they don't apply to me or I can not answer the question that is asked, I simply move on to the next thread that does apply. This is the reason I asked the question about a separate location.
