Sounds like a cost-cutting move. WOAI has been mired in third place in the ratings for a long time.

Interesting... I recently completed a survey that asked me to rate different weather guessers and say whether or not I thought they would be a good fit for the city.

So what exactly is the point in watching WOAI now? How do they think this will improve their ratings? I'm confused.

I saw this on mysa.com today. I was shocked!! What are they thinking!

I hope it isn't for cost cutting purposes. That's why I think KENS also let Marrou go as well. Man!

Well, I just hope the person who fills her shoes has some type of personality or I MAY switch back to KSAT 12 for good. We'll see.

WOAI is the worst rated local newscast for a reason, they're horrible. Nothing but yellow journalism. Jennifer Broome should consider it a compliment if the management there doesn't think she fits in.
