Seems the solution to this problem was in today's news. A drunk driver driving north on I-35 was hit head-on by a drunk driver headed south in the northbound lanes. Both were arrested and charged with DWI. Welcome to San Antonio.

What is it in San Antonio with people getting drunk and driving the wrong way on the highway? I see this on the morning newscast every week!

Huh? How is it obvious? He couldn't do anything but run because your friends are Mexican or because you aren't Mexican?

I do not condone any of the OP's actions, but I do agree that drunk driving is a huge problem here that gets no action. If I was a visitor, I would cross this place off my list just because of how much of an epidemic the problem has become. This behavior is not normal and you do not see it in other places. It is definitely an issue and it needs more attention and enforcement. I could easily ID 100 DUIs every night if sapd needs any assistance. They are everywhere.

Some posts above were deleted. The original post expresses some strong opinions. That doesn't give those who reply to it a free pass to express strong opinions about the original poster. Stick to the topic, please.

I know I did my fair share of reporting drunk drivers to the police during my time in San Antonio. I saw it all the time but would only call if I saw them almost get into an accident.

So I read the OP's post and all I get from it is some guy who may or may not have been drunk (him being drunk is a wild assumption on the OP's part) "acted" like he was going to hit you with his car so the only person we know who was drunk, the OP, wants to jump on the car but instead keys the car and then punches the driver.

In the end the OP theorizes that that driver was the problem. Right. And also, the driver had a racial agenda against the OP because the three girls he was with were "Mexican" and he wasn't. Right.
