Hey everyone!

My wife and I purchased our first home back in November of last year, and have been slowly making renovations to it since. For our next project, we'd like to have a basic concrete patio put in the backyard. Currently, we have a small 3' x 4' concrete stoop. We are looking to go with either a 10' x 12' or 12' x 14' patio, but don't know who to turn to. I am not looking for anything fancy; typical 4" tall slab will suffice. At some point, we will likely cover the area, but for now want something larger than what we have.

Does anyone know of any great concractors for this job? I created a profile on a website called Service Magic, which links you with contractors who specialize in the work you're looking for, but I thought it would be best to also ask around as well.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

Steve

Thanks! If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up paying? How large was your project?

Anyone else?

It was a slab to room addition about 24'x10'x1' and cost me under $2k ( need to check on the exact amount)
In price was included demo of old patio slab and roof, cleanup etc.

Got the pics...thanks! For under 2K, that doesn't seem to bad. I was fearing for our project we'd end up paying over 3K. I can take out the stoop that we have now, so that whomever I contract with just has to place a form and pour the concrete. But hey, if cost isn't too bad, then I may just have to sit back and let the professionals handle it.

I'll be giving PC a call this afternoon to see if they can come out and give me an estimate on the work.
