First time to Qualcomm stadium coming up.
Are you allowed to bring your own food into the stadium like Petco Park, or not allowed?
Is the best deal on parking 10$?
Anything else worthy to note, do, see, check out, avoid, etc?

Take the trolley and avoid dealing with parking and all that mess.

^ Word.

Qualcomm is a nightmare with traffic and parking is a straight ripoff. Take the trolley.

Be prepared to cheer for the Chargers or risk getting certain body parts handed to you or verbally soused to the point of it not being a good time for you.

You can bring all the food you want into the stadium, but only bottled water. It has to be 17oz or less, and unopened (factory sealed). Don't bring a backpack, they have size restrictions (12"x12"x12"). I do bag checks at the gates, and make lots of people very unhappy.

Don't drive there, take the trolley. Traffic is horrible and parking is expensive. It's entertaining to watch drunks get hauled off in handcuffs and carted away.

Just a smaller crowd. You still have to deal with the traffic, restrictions, and lots of drunk college kids. I'll be working the Charger game tomorrow.

As a Univ. of S.D. student, I used to sell sodas at the Chargers' games when they played in Balboa Stadium and had players like Lance Alworth, John Hadl, and Ron Mix. Even sold a soft drink to Regis Philman; he was just getting started in the business.
