Well, if you leave your car there because you don't think they keep track, you're still risking getting towed. Why do that unless you have the time and money to spare?? You even admit you saw them checking, so that doesn't support your argument.

I ask you again, if they have any idea if a car has been there two days and not one, how is that? And I saw them checking for expired registrations, what does that have to do with anything?

How about... you haven't the slightest idea of what you are talking about.

Two days after a car is towed the tow company files an intent for lien sale. That is standard procedure. The sale does not happen for 60 or 120 days. My info is from the state of california.

Why don't you just call Road One. My previous van was towed, and I was told that if I didn't come and pay the fees to get it out within two days it would to go auction/sale.
