From what I hear get used to it. I am on backup power. It's like camping.

Are you having an outage? Can't say we're "used to" outages here in Scripps Ranch. We've had maybe three unplanned outages in nine years and one brief planned outage with advance notice. Only one of the unplanned ones was really noteworthy. Before that, we lived near Mission valley, tierrasanta, Kearny mesa, that neck of the woods for 15 years, and I can only remember maybe one outage. I don't think we get many power outages here compared to anywhere else in the country.

Never thought I'd see the need for generators, but now, I do. If I could put solar up, independent of the grid, I would, along with Tesla wall batteries. Then, I'd go fully electric utilities, along w/transportation. (I could see a couple Zero's and a Tesla or two, in the garage.) No Lucids for me!
