Seems like Craigslist is the best online resource for listings, but does anyone know who's the best after that?

Yup, craigslist is the best!! I've found my last 3 places (2 apartments & a house) on there, in addition to my roommate - a guy who's absolutely wonderful, btw.
Apartmentratings is a cool site too, and actually convinced me NOT to rent one place I was considering. Others are apartments.com, rent.com, realtor.com (select rentals), and rentalguide.com. You'll have much better luck on craigslist, though, unless you're looking specifically for a large & expensive type of complex. Good luck!

Apartmentratings is a cool site too, and actually convinced me NOT to rent one place I was considering. Others are apartments.com, rent.com, realtor.com (select rentals), and rentalguide.com. You'll have much better luck on craigslist, though, unless you're looking specifically for a large & expensive type of complex. Good luck!
