hello. We live in the north section of the East bay. We have three small wonderful dogs. We generally take them with us whenever we travel..they have crossed the country multiple times and have even done Vegas
. We will need to leave them behind though for a long weekend on in early fall. In the past, when we lived in Buffalo and NM, we boarded them at our vet. I see the boarding prices are at least double of what we paid in those locations. Several people have mentioned that hiring a "pet sitter" is common in this area. I have no experience with this type of service and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

I haven't used them personally, but I heard good things about them. The rates for pet sitting are reasonable for the area.

There are loads of pet sitters around here. Just check Yelp. I use a sitter for my cat and she's excellent.

. We will need to leave them behind though for a long weekend on in early fall. In the past, when we lived in Buffalo and NM, we boarded them at our vet. I see the boarding prices are at least double of what we paid in those locations. Several people have mentioned that hiring a "pet sitter" is common in this area. I have no experience with this type of service and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
