old man almost 71 that likes to walk 8 miles daily and clean up with a good sauna & hot tub than jump in a pool....been thinking about NM, TX, on bottom of states but at my age i need too be more safe and comfortable...i am single, no party left in me and just want to live my life out in peace, love reading a few hours a day, home or in park or ? on my laptop, walk, maybe bike if safe for me at my age...looken for trail for walking, parks etc, health club or apt with hot tub & pool.......in a few weeks i like to take a ride and check out area, fl, or las cruces,nm....i want to see how areas are in warm weather without snow birds.....if i like area i,d rent a small kitchenet or studio, 1 bedroom....i,m not rich but i always pay my own way. i sure could use some help here, i found this site looken at mineral springs too soak in......my name is denny from De Pere, WI..across the street from Green Bay,WI.....about 2 miles of packer stadium but i walk on trails for my enjoyment.....have a great 5th...denny

There is an area on the border of Sarasota and Bradenton- University Park. They have very nice apartments out that way, many with gyms and perhaps a hot tub. Palm Aire is a community that offers apartments too, and the people are a bit on the older side. There are many amenities nearby and there are walking trails around (I think..). The area is very suburban like and safe..Not sure if these places would fit your budget but its worth looking into..Good Luck.
