I think the key word here is "relocating" a 1k jobs. That means another state lost 1k jobs. Sort of a shell game. Here they are trying to create jobs from scratch.

There are always eager nay-sayers that jump on anything new, different, etc. to take an immediate doom and gloom attitude, instead of taking a "let's give them a chance and wait and see how they ACTUALLY do" approach. The Sanborn Studios business is a start-up, about five months old after all.

I hope they do well and proper. They have already spent $500,000 of county tax payer money as a gift from the commissioners to get their so called 'business' off the ground.

I dont see any of the replies as being negative. I see it more a realistic view of the situation. 500k of taxpayer money from the county..... could have been better spent in this economy IMHO. Look at all the cuts the county went through and continues to go through but they had 500k for this
.
Reality scares some people and others see it for what it is. Some of you can get the warm and fuzzies over the studio, I will take the waste of money stance
