This is known as the Suncoast in Florida. Anna Maria Island, Bradenton, Village of Cortez, Downtown Sarasota, "Unconditional Surrender" statue on Sarasota's waterfront, Holmes Beach on AMI, Conquina Beach looking south to Longboat Key, Seagull at Holmes Beach picnic area, and 2 sunsets on AMI (a nightly occurrence here) People drive over to our Gulf of Mexico waters from Orlando, 2 hours away, just to see our white sand, palm trees and the most beautiful sunsets in the world.

Brohard Beach in Venice allows dogs. It's just south of the famous Sharkeys on the Pier.
