Hi,

I'm 34m, single, straight and thinking very strongly about relocating to the Bradenton area. What are good, safe neighborhoods where I can be near the water and be able to be near things of interest/entertainment/restaruants shopping etc. Also if anyone can recommend a good apartment complex in this afformentioned area that would be greatly appreciated. Moving by myself and would like to be near the beach but not far from people meeting opportunites.

The first question people are going to ask you is if you have a job lined up.

Second question they will ask is 'Are you sure you're in the right town? This is Bradenton'.

Original poster

The most helpful thing you can do is skim the existing threads or use the search function and search using the selection of putting "Bradenton" in the title rather than the whole post.

There is another thread right now that is very current that asks the same question about areas of Bradenton. I think that is why you are not getting many serious responses is people have just answered the same question for someone else.

You question is probably one of the most common questions asked and you can get more from several old threads than you will to this one. It has been asked and answered over and over.

I am a nice person.... but when I take the time to ask a question on a forum meant for questions would it kill any one of you to give me a response that might help my question. I'm facing a life changing move and would like some input. Not a bunch of condesending replies. The ones that actually answered the question with a helpful remark I appreciate it. But for the others that were obviously inconveinenced by my post you don't belong on a forum to begin with. That's the whole point of a public forum. Have some respect for your fellow american.

He does have a good point. He doesn't know these questions have been asked many times. I can't help you, I'm not familiar with Bradenton except for what I read here and my apologies if I offended you.

Have some respect by not calling us *******s for pointing out that the search function is there. Which, by the way, is a far superior way of asking a question because it's *already been answered* and your answers are instant! You can always make a thread with NEW questions. Or, you can make a new thread with OLD and answered questions, and wait a week or two while everyone replies with the same content that is *already here* in the other threads.

Which is more efficient? Searching! See? We HELPED you! You just didnt care and blasted off that we are *******s. Who doesnt belong on the forum?

So in reality -- The answers we provided were quite nice and extremely helpful because it shows you how to find a few-dozen-dozen threads about the same thing that has been asked.

After all, your research led you to here to ask a question, did your ability to use a search feature fail after finding city-data on Google and registering here?

So go ahead -- Search. Use that funny six letter worded link and see what you dig up about the area. When you have questions in which the answers arent here already in a hundred other threads about the same exact thing, fire away!

The advantage to using search is that you get answers from posters who no longer post here. Many times the information in old threads is far more comprehensive and varied than in new threads. The suggestion to search was meant to be helpful.

Every forum I have ever participated in expected people to use the search function before asking. I really don't understand why you are so insulted by the suggestion to search.

Also I don't understand why you feel like everyone else should do work to reply to you and you should do no work besides asking a question.

You have asked a question.
Several of us have answered in the way we consider to be appropriate.
Maybe others will step up and give you what you want.

This is meant sincerely and not sarcastically. I wish you the best in you quest to move to Bradenton.
