Possibly flying into Tampa this time, instead of directly to Sarasota/Bradenton.

When trying to reach I-75 at around noon-3pm from the airport, would it be better to take I-275 through St. Pete and over the Skyway bridge until it merges into I-75? Or is it more practical/less congested to take I-4 west to I-75?

Thanks for advice!

The difference in distance and time is pretty similar.......maybe a little less going over the Skyway bridge. But if you took I275 through Tampa over to I75 you'd have to endure the mid-day congestion in downtown so I'd opt for the Skyway route.

Default yes

I agree with these guys. there's no construction over here.
There's a small toll on the Skyway but it'll bring you right into Bradenton and a short ride from there to Sarasota.
Tehre's no time of day that going thru Tampa and the Crosstown to 75 is better, construction, trucks, major congestion
