Where would you choose to live in FL, if you were 75, fit, healthy and politically (very?) liberal (and moving from Europe) ?

For various reasons, we have to return to the US and choose somewhere to put down roots in FL (like no state taxes, close to Eastern seaboard, home prices, no winter weather, etc).

Florida used to be a liberal state, not so much anymore. Just keep your politics to yourself, and vote the way you wish.
For your other requests, anyplace in South Florida is going to suit your needs. The Atlantic is much cleaner than the Gulf, so east coast would be my choice.

The entire S. East part of Florida is quite liberal....but more of an "anything goes" liberal...

Tampa or Sarasota are pretty much anything goes. In fact, there was a meetup group in Sarasota of "boomer liberals"....I thought that was funny (being a boomer liberal myself...but the last thing I want to do is select people by tags like that)....

Let's put it this way. A lot of Germans, Brits, etc. live in the Sarasota area...so if they can do it you probably can also.

Sure, it's not going to feel like Europe. But no one will yap at you for your Bernie Bumper Sticker.

So you don't want to pay state taxes but you voted for Bernie Sanders? lol

I didn't catch that. Funny stuff......

Being a New Englander I love Bernie (have for decades). But, truth be told, some of my friends who are Bernie fans keep posting news stories that are completely untrue. I point it out and they tell me "thanks" - so in that sense, they sure beat conservatives (who will fight...for the right...to lies)...

Thats a good thing too. There was more Antifa types in FL also back in 2006. Both sides can be retarded HOWEVER I will take my chances with the alt right on a nationwide level. In FL though, I have been tempted to go hard left because I dont like the status quo and the hard right isnt doing much down here outside of a few names like Augustus Invictus. Sinead McCarthy. Renegade Radio. In St Pete, the Uhuru movement is trying to get ground.

St Pete is pretty liberal, I believe. Tampa not so much.

I assume like most progressives (who are in no way liberal and shouldn't use that description for themselves) that he wants everyone else to pay taxes for him. There is nothing liberal about Statist Bernie Sanders.
