Hello everyone in this board:
I practice Chinese Medicine and acupuncture and I am planning on moving to Sarasota and start a clinic somewhere in south Sarasota in a few months, I have been reading posts in this forum for quite a while and learned a lot of great information from super nice posters.
Here below is some detailed information related to my relocation plan that I need some advise or help.
I have a daughter at second grade now, she is already in a gifted program, and her IQ test and achievement test results qualifies pine view school's requirement, I am planning to apply pine view for her,
And right now, all I miss in her application package is the proof of residency in Sarasota county. The deadline for pine view is end of April, so even though I might not move to Sarasota till some time in June, I will need to start renting an apt in Sarasota ASAP in order to meet pine view's deadline.
A brief summary for my current relocation plan is:
I will rent an apt/condo ASAP for temporary use up to one year.
We will relocate some time in June to this temporary apt/condo.
I will need to rent an office space to open my clinic, targeting open house date in early September.
We will start looking to buy a house within one year.
My question is:
1) Is there any good agent works on apt/condo rental in south Sarasota area, e.g. Palmer ranch and nearby area who can provide some input in this?
We will be at Sarasota this Thursday, Friday and Saturday looking for places to rent, and we prefer to settle down a lease agreement ASAP.

A brief requirement for places we want: (3 br+, 2 bath+, within 10 mins of drive to pine view school and inside Sarasota county, nice and safe neighborhood, prefer community with lots of elementary school kids for social and play date, budget: within $2000 per month)
2) Any information related to medical office renting or any rent to buy opportunities are more than welcome.
3) is there any real estate opportunity in Sarasota that can be used as dual purpose? E.g. Residential/medical office combination?

Not sure where that school is....but Saratoga Place on Palmer Ranch offers very nice apartments ...they will allow you to sign on a month to month basis or 7 month, 12, and 15 month leases. I think there is a waiting list for a three bedroom however. Otherwise....I would try VRBO or look in the paper for rentals. Sarasota seems to lack really nice apt spaces, with the exception of Saratoga, ....there are houses though available to rent.
