Well, we are going to St.Augustine and the route that we are taking takes us onto I-95 going south in Brunswick. WILL WE GET STUCK IN TRAFFIC.

Last time I was down that way, it looked like the messy 95 widening project was close to finished. Even so, there's always a chance of traffic being backed up going both ways all the way thru GA this time of year due to volume.

Especially in the Savannah area, there's usually at least one major wreck / back up on 95 every day involving an overturned truck b/c of the heavy port traffic.

Yes, unless there's a major accident, the OP should be OK...and you're going to run the risk of that on any interstate. If it does happen, exit onto Hwy 17 South and take the 'Scenic Route' .
