This hasn't gotten much attention on here but it sure as hell is the talk of the town. In the court of public opinion, Mr. Thomas is a disgusting old pedophile who's guilty as charged and needs to be in prison. Within the gay community, the opinion of people who KNOW him is much different. While not a saint, he's certainly not the ogre being painted by these political enemies (and make no mistake -- that is what they are: POLITICAL enemies).
This interview with WSAV is very telling I think: Someone who's guilty of atrocities as nasty as these is not THIS confident. Not even someone as notoriously arrogant as Tony Thomas. In the end, I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

I want to know where his fellow aldermen were during these alleged incidents of statutory rape and supplying alcohol to underage minors. Ellis Cook was quick to share his stories, but if he thought they were wrong at the time, why the hell didn't he say something at the time?
