My wife and I will be taking the train from Phila. to either Charleston or Savannah, I understand the Charleston station is scary, is Savannah any better?

You're coming from Philadelphia and wondering if someplace else is scary? Never stepped off onto the Charleston station. The Savannah station is not scary but it is out in the industrial boonies. You'll have to call or catch a cab to get into town. It's not that far, maybe two or three miles.
