I am really wanting to get out of SWFL and seriously thinking of renting while my condo is listed, no mortage and HOA is minimal so would not hurt financially.

I lived in River Crossing about 20 years ago. The crime is low for both of them. Both are older complexes but I haven't been by either in at least 10 years. River Crossing is a little more convienent to town.

I live at Buccaneer Trace and am very happy. Been there 8 years. Will be happy to answer any questions via PM if you like. Otherwise I consider it probably the best value for your money on the Islands. Not luxurious by any means but management bends over backward to make you happy.

I lived at Buccaneer Trace for 2 years and loved it. Had an issue with the A/C when i moved into the apt in JUNE>>>> they replaced the unit quickly. never had issues with anything, in fact the Property Manager used my apartment to show the Lending team for the financing of the new building to show how nice they were!!! She commented my unit was nicer than the model. The office team there was great and the location was perfect for me. noise wasn't an issue either below me or beside me. pool was nice and the grounds were maintained well. Parking wasn't a problem either.
