Amazon is still charging my credit card for Prime Membership when I cancelled over two months ago. Has this happened to anyone else and would you please tell me about it and what the end result finally was?

Just go ask for a refund. It happens on these persistent-billing things and as long as you haven't used any Prime services (or not much) it should be nearly automatic to get a refund.
