Polish construction firm Budimex (BDXP.WA) and refiner Lotos (LTSP.WA) have created a floral-scented asphalt in a bid to improve working conditions for road builders, Budimex said on Monday.

While vapours emitted by ordinary asphalt are not harmful to humans, the novel material will provide a more comfortable working environment for construction workers paving roads, Budimex said.

Product Slogan: Poo Pourri for Asphalt

Perhaps road construction workers significant others may also appreciate it.

How long does said material emit the smell after being exposed to the elements? I t could be marketed for location specific paving by naturally foul smelling areas.

I envision driving by an outdoor refuse center and smelling pleasant spring flowers....

I think it's nice to do something for the worker's well-being.
