I'm in my 50's (though I feel 21) and would really like to find out where all the other nerds, geeks, "intellectuals" and fellow bookworms hang out for their social fix in Tacoma. I'm not (necessarily) looking to "hook up", just looking for like-minded company, so age really isn't a criteria---though admittedly I'd feel more comfortable if they aren't all 20 somethings. Thanks!

I like the "(necessarily)" , keeping the dream alive! Been to this place? King's Books. This place is offbeat in a good way, acoustic and other interesting music: Bob's Java-Jive - Tacoma, WA | Yelp. Also, a great coffeshop/music place: Events. Jazzbones is fun too: Jazzbones Tacoma - Jazzbones Tacoma. I think all of these places attract the kind of people you might like.

Default Ooops

Three years on--I had completely forgotten that I had posted this question....Thanks to the two people who did reply. Unfortunately I wound up moving to Oregon, so I was unable to take advantage. I'm hoping to move back soon, and updating my question!
