Just wondering. Long time ago I applied to med schools & was accepted, but chose not to go. Still wonder where my peers from college all went in medicine? Ok, anyone here an MD/DO, etc.?

We had a fellow, Guido Lamoto, over here some months ago who claimed to be an MD, but I strongly suspect that he was another troublesome poster under a different nom de plume. He was on his best behavior, lest he be found out for who he was.

Have not heard a peep out of him in many months.

I'm not a doctor although I do play one on the internet. My wife is an experienced RN and I have my Wilderness First Responder cert though so we have the basics covered.

Not an MD, but I was a First Responder for 12 years with a volunteer fire department, had some combat medical training as part of my military portfolio, I'm still the Emergency Coordinator at my main day job so fully certified CPR/ First Aid.
I also do a lot of study on medical plants in my area for their benefits JIC.

My wife is a nurse with 25 years experience, plus she also served as a Corpsman in the Navy for 4 years and as an Army Nurse for an additional 4 years.

We get by.

There are a number of Docs not withstanding Dr. Paul Williams '"When All Plans Fail" author involved
with Physicians Without Borders and International Healthcare Network. He is a great prepper having
aided in most of the world's disasters especally Indonesia, Bangladesh, Central America and Rwanda.
Just spoke with him recently in Hendersonville NC .

Haha, know this is old but still relevant as we never lose need for medical pro's. Anyone else have experience?
