I'll admit I went to Quik Trip yesterday morning for coffee and the line was sooooo long. People there were talking about how they actually had been camping out overnight for some of the places to open, they wanted to be the first ones in. Unbelieveable. I wouldnt camp out just to spend money like that! Compulsive shopping is the name of the game and most merchants know they got ya once you get into the store. We stopped at Walmart on the way home simply for a kids light jacket and some laundry soap. Once we were done getting crushed, stepped on, feet ran over with carts, some kid screaming and throwing tanturms about some stupid game he wanted...we actually got out of there in about an hour. (My kid would have been knocked clear into tomorrow had he put out a tantrum like that in a store!).

I got the bright idea to go to Best Buy around 1:00am because I wanted the Toshiba laptop with printer for $229! But after seeing people already camping out on the news, I decided it was not worth it! Then, to hear people leaving the store with loads of stuff, saying they bought things just because they were on sale. Glad I missed out!
