Staples has just started email blasts setting Free Shipping to require purchases a minimum of $14.99. Staples has made hidden it in the small print of their T&C and made it so vague that one will not know if this amount after coupons/rewards or not. Does not say if it free to store like other companies. Does not say much of anything. So how will this change affect shopping in relation to Staples.
I got the email today. It says bulkier items will cost more. Bummer, because I like to buy my paper towels and toilet paper from them in big packages. Will just have to see how much they want to charge me next time I go to check out.
It will be interesting to see if they charge us to ship stuff we buy with rewards, like you say.
I just ordered on Staples, and they don't ding you for your rewards. I had $40 in rewards, and my order was around $45. I got my free shipping, even though my out-of-pocket after rewards was only around $5.00.
Yay!
