I have been an AOL user for many moons and have 5 usernames(email address @aol.com),yesterday I want to make some changes,so I deleted one of them, and plan to add a new username.
Well,I found out this is no longer offered, once you delete a user name,it is gone so now I am down to 4.
Does anyone try adding a new username?
I have not used AOL in decades, but I was not aware that you could not add/delete user I.D.s as desired. You could open an account with gmail, hotmail, or yahoo. I cannot in good conscience recommend yahoo, though. it is the worst free email service out there in my opinion.

I am confused. You wanted to makes some changes, so you deleted one user name and wanted to add a new one, making 5 again?
So why do you want to pull up the deleted user name if you are going to add a new name?
NO,I am getting too much junk mail with one of my username,so I thought the best way is to delete that username and then add a new one in its place, the new one wont get any junk mail.
but once I deleted that old one,AOL would not let me add a new one, then I did some research and found out AOL has this policy in place years ago,you cant add any new username,if you have 5 before this policy, then keep all five ,once you delete one,you are left with 4 .
if you are a new user, you can only have one.
what is so bad with AOL?
I heard young users said only grandmas use AOL,but it is nice,my internet provider Windstream has its own website and I can browse news, send and receive emails, but I just dont like it,AOL is so much better
At the time I was a brand new Internet user, I opted for AOL. As I became more familiar with the Internet, I realised I had better options. If you like it, then keep it. It is totally your decision. I do not know anyone anymore who uses it, though.
Since this is an ISP - an Internet provider, have you asked in that thread???
