From the announcement: "On the eve of a critical visit by Major League Soccer, the Sacramento Republic FC has signed a letter of intent to build a future soccer stadium at the railyard, and future railyard developer Larry Kelley has joined the ownership group".
Good news for the city of Sacramento. They are getting a little closer to landing an MLS team. The Railyards is a great location. Too bad this location did not work out for the Sacramento Kings' new arena currently under construction in the site-demo phase. The rendering of the stadium is nice but most likely will get tweaked as the process moves forward.
