Any pictures of the beaches during full daylight. I notice most pics I see of SC beaches are always at sunrise and sunset. Then I visited last January and noticed the water on Hilton Head was a very murky brown color and not at all appealing or subtropical looking. Is the water there ever nice? Or a nice color?

Really don't understand why they are so popular then. Everyone I know wants to swim in clear ocean water not brown murky water.

Tom, crystal clear water is the preference; although as for me, as long as the water is warm from the Gulf Stream, I’ll swim in it.

Then only popular to southerners as guess that are used to it. Even our water up here, in summer mid to upper 70's, is clear green, not brown and murky.
