If they offered you a job wouldn't they tell you what the salary is?

A GM of a McDonald's can make anywhere between $40,000 and $50,000. Maybe a little higher depending on the number of years of service.

But that is a GM. Not a shift manager. Shift managers are still paid hourly and probably make around $25,000.

I'm assuming it was a shift manager position. How much do they make per hour?

Only they can tell you that! Minimum wage in this state is $7.25/hr.

The problem/issue is many "manager" positions in retail/fast food business's are minimum wage and maximum hour positions. When all is said and done, they are actually paid less then the minimum wage per hour for the hours worked but their badge say "Manager". The problem is the word "Manager" does not pay the bills.

If you wear a uniform and a badge, the chances are you are not making the "good nor big bucks" but the badge does have a "title".

Does one want the title or the bucks?

Perhaps one lacking professional skills wants the opportunity to prove themselves and understands that they will need to demonstrate the ability to perform jobs of increasing responsibility before someone will give them the key to the front door.

Not everybody gets hired as CEO.

I can not tell you how much the job will pay, but you will learn how to deal with people. Some times these jobs can help you develop contacts that could lead to other jobs. Good Luck
