What's the nicest restUrant in Florence? Anniversary tomorrow and I'm tired of the 3 nice restaurants in Sumter and a lot of restaurants in Columbia are closing early because of the curfew. So we are thinking of going to Florence for a nice dinner.
Limited fine dining options in Florence (unless you like bar-b-cue). Victors downtown on W Evans St is pricey but has a nice atmosphere in & out, & good food. Chain options out by the I-20 interstate include Outback, Olive Garden & Longhorns, though Percy & Willies is nearby local option. Stefanos Italian on the southside of town (S Irby) has great food. Happy anniversary.
Went to Victors. Atmosphere and service was exactly what I was looking for. Food was decent but didn't blow me away. Especially for what we paid. $135 for 2 of us was pretty steep for a steak and a piece of salmon. Granted we had cocktails, soup and split a dessert, but I cook a better steak and my mashed potatoes are 10 times better.
The highlight was the she crab soup. It was amazing.
