Bluffton Gateway, Bluffton, South Carolina (Hilton Head Island, Port Royal: 2015, tenants, club)

Walmart Supercenter and Sam's Club have been officially announced as tenants for Bluffton Gateway, a commercial center locating at the southwest corner of Fording Island Road and Bluffton Road in the Town of Bluffton, South Carolina. Both stores are projected to open in early 2017.

We will be moving to the Bluffton/Hardeeville area in a few years. I have read there are plans to extend the Bluffton Parkway to Rt 278, nearer to I95

I mentioned in the thread "Bluffton Parkway: Improvement Projects" Bluffton Parkway would be extended to Interstate 95 southwest of Hardeeville.

I think this would be good move, and will help alleviate some traffic on 278, which can be brutal during summer months. Thanks for the link

The Sam's Club store at Bluffton Gateway will be the relocating replacement store for store 6582, Port Royal Plaza, 95 Mathews Drive, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29926-3611.

Walmart #6395 will open on Thursday, 25 January 2017.

I notice Walmart #6395 is not listed as a Walmart Supercenter hypermarket, but as a Walmart discount department store.
